Tulsa towing near me: licensed wreckers by town, police tows, and how to check one
Tulsa towing near me, on this directory, means a list by Tulsa-area town. The counts are records in this directory, matched to Department of Public Safety licenses. Pick the town, open that town page, and call the shop yourself. This page does not track your location, and it does not send a truck.
The Tulsa names and phones are on towing in Tulsa. This directory does not book or dispatch.
If you need a tow in a town near Tulsa
If someone is hurt, call 911 before you call a wrecker. This site is not an emergency dispatcher.
Then name the place. A cross street, a neighborhood, or the highway and the nearest exit is a pickup. The town name alone is the mailing city on a roster row, not a map pin and not a promise that a listed shop is the closest one to you.
- Open the town page below and call a roster phone yourself. Match the name they give you to the license name on the card.
- Say the vehicle and whether it rolls and steers. The official list does not label a company light or heavy. Ask which truck they will send.
- Ask what is included before you agree. Keep the invoice with the vehicle record.
- A shop with another mailing city may or may not drive to your address. Ask.
A mailing city is not a police-rotation membership. See how we check the list.
Tulsa-area wreckers by town
Counted October 21, 2026 from the company records on this site. The companies index has 563 records. The Tulsa-area region is 95 records in 17 mailing cities. The counts below are records in this directory. They are not a new tally of the state list made today, and they are not a count of shops that cover a street.
The names and phones stay on the town page. This page does not copy the Tulsa company list.

Was your car towed by Tulsa police?
A search for a tow near you is sometimes a car an officer already had removed. The Tulsa Police Department property FAQ answers “How do I get my motor vehicle?” with this sentence. Read October 21, 2026:
Motor vehicles that are impounded and towed by TPD officers are stored at Allied Towing, 1011 N. Lewis Ave. Their phone number is 585-5571.
That is the phone number as the Police page shows it. This page does not add an area code, and it does not match that name or address to a company card on this directory.
The Department of Public Safety Wrecker Services page links “Where is my vehicle? Locate a law enforcement towed vehicle.” That opens the stored vehicle finder. The finder says to enter a VIN to search for an impounded vehicle. Use that step when the question is a law-enforcement tow. If the vehicle is already stored, start there instead of calling a second tow.
City of Tulsa invitation for bid TAC 277F, Wrecker, Impound & Storage Services, issue date December 23, 2025, says a bidder must have a current Class AA wrecker license issued by the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety. It also says the contractor must provide its own vehicle impound sites, and those sites must be within Tulsa city limits. The bid does not name the Allied Towing address in the police FAQ. This page does not treat that bid as a company card.
The City of Tulsa Tow List
The City of Tulsa Municipal Court page Search the Tow List describes a parking-citation path, read October 21, 2026. When a vehicle has two or more outstanding parking citations, the Clerk of the Municipal Court notifies the registered owner in writing, at the address on the state registration, that a hearing will be held to determine the vehicle a public nuisance and to order impoundment. After the hearing, a Municipal Judge of the City of Tulsa may declare the vehicle a public nuisance and order it impounded. The page defines impoundment as a wheel boot that restricts the vehicle’s movement and/or a tow. Once that order is in place, the vehicle is placed on the City’s Vehicle Tow List if the citations remain unpaid or outstanding.
A vehicle appearing on the Tow List may be towed or have a disabling boot placed on it at any time.
The same page says additional charges for towing, storage, and/or booting may have to be paid on top of outstanding parking citations and late fees before the vehicle is released.
You may plead not guilty, in person, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays at the Municipal Court, 600 Civic Center, Room 228, Tulsa, OK, 74103. The same page lists separate, shorter hours for paying at the Municipal Court cashier, including a noon-to-1 p.m. closure. Those cashier hours are not the plea window.
How to check a wrecker
The Department of Public Safety Wrecker Services page is the state’s licensing page for wrecker services. Checked October 21, 2026. It lists an original application fee of $500.00 and a renewal application fee of $250.00. It says application fees are established in 47 O.S. § 953, and that renewal fees are $250.00 per 47 O.S. 72 § 953 C, which is how that page prints the cite. Those are license fees, not the price of a tow.
The same page says: “The Oklahoma Corporation Commission regulates the fees or rates charged by a licensed wrecker or towing company.” For other wrecker questions, the page lists Wrecker Services at (405) 425-2312.
To check a named company, open the Department of Public Safety PDF Wrecker Services Licensed in Oklahoma (the file linked from that page on October 21, 2026, dated in the file name October 8, 2026). Its columns are company name, DPS wrecker license number, day phone, night phone, office street, office city, office state, and office zip. Match the name and the license number on the town-page card to a row on that list. The file has duplicate rows, so this page does not print a total from it. The counts above are records in this directory.
What a police or private-lot tow can cost
Checked October 21, 2026: the Corporation Commission’s Nonconsensual Towing page still heads its rate section “Current Rates” and says that, effective June 1, 2024, the Commission ordered new maximum rates for nonconsensual towing. The Commission Order link on that page is still Order No. 741981. Those maximums are for a nonconsensual tow. Read the figures on what a police or private-lot tow can cost (state caps). This page does not reprint them. A tow you requested is a private price. Ask for the price before you agree. This directory does not quote that price.
For the same kind of town list in Central Oklahoma, see Oklahoma City towing near me.
What this page will not tell you
Confirm when you call. These counts do not say which shops answer at a given hour, how soon a truck can arrive, which company is closest to an address, or which truck a shop will send. This page does not rank shops or reprint reviews.
Quick answers
Does this page track a location for near me?
No. Near me on this page means the mailing city on a Department of Public Safety roster row, grouped by Tulsa-area town. This directory does not read your location, book a tow, or dispatch a truck.
Where does Tulsa police store a car an officer towed?
Tulsa Police say motor vehicles that are impounded and towed by TPD officers are stored at Allied Towing, 1011 N. Lewis Ave. Their phone number is 585-5571. For a law-enforcement tow, the Department of Public Safety stored vehicle finder asks for a VIN. This page does not match that lot to a company card.
How do I check that a wrecker is licensed?
The Department of Public Safety licenses wrecker services. Open the list Wrecker Services Licensed in Oklahoma, the PDF dated October 8, 2026, and match the company name to the DPS wrecker license number and the day and night phones. The $500 original application fee and the $250 renewal fee are license fees, not the price of a tow. The Oklahoma Corporation Commission regulates the fees or rates charged by a licensed wrecker or towing company. The state caps for a police or private-lot tow are on the wrecker service Oklahoma City page. This page does not reprint them.
